2025 Sony Open in Hawaii field: PGA Tour players, rankings

The 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii field is set with the passing of the PGA Tour tournament entry deadline. This week's PGA Tour field is set for this FedEx Cup Signature event, played at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii, from January 9-12, 2025.

Sony Open in Hawaii field is headlined by the likes of Hideki Matsuyama, Keegan Bradley, Sahith Theegala and more.

This is set to be a 144-player field is played out over four days, with this event marking the first full-field tournament of the FedEx Cup season on the 2025 PGA Tour schedule.

The tournament is being played in its originally intended slot, with the PGA Tour starting the 2025 season in Hawaii with the second of two events in the Aloha State.

We do not yet have Monday qualifiers for this event. There are four spots in the field available for the top four players in the tournament Monday qualifier.

The Sony Open in Hawaii alternate list will be used to replace any withdrawing players in the field. The first two alternates are Trevor Cone and Danny Walker.

The field will be playing for an $8.7 million purse, with 20 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.
