2024 Hero World Challenge Tournament preview
The Hero World Challenge is this week, and the PGA Tour heads to the Bahamas for a challenge event hosted by Tiger Woods that will showcase a 20-player field of top-35 players taking on a fun host course.
2024 Hero World Challenge Tournament rankings: Top 10 players
1. Scottie Scheffler: We haven't seen Scheffler in three months, but he's definitely still the best player in the world.
2. Ludvig Aberg: We just saw Aberg come back at The RSM Classic, where he finished T-17, showing good signs after that meiscus surgery.
3. Patrick Cantlay: Cantlay is just such a consistent finisher that it's tough to rank him poorly because he doesn't win much.
4. Keegan Bradley: This is more of a gut ranking than anything, especially since we haven't seen Bradley since the Tour Championship.
5. Wyndham Clark: Clark was strong to end the FedEx Cup season, though he missed the cut in his one fall start in Napa.
6. Justin Thomas: We saw JT one time in the fall, and that was a T-2 at the Zozo Championship.
7. Russell Henley: Henley is an interesting play to win outright if the wind blows, otherwise he's just been a little too erratic compared to others in the field.
8. Sahith Theegala: Theegala played well in Napa, but then he wasn't particularly good in Japan at the Zozo. Not sure where his game is this moment.
9. Sungjae Im: Im put it together to close the FedEx Cup season and had a decent run to a T-13 at the Zozo Championship.
10. Aaron Rai: It's easy to forget about Rai in this kind of field, but he did stay active in the fall and almost won the BMW PGA Championship.
