2024 Hero World Challenge field: PGA Tour players, rankings

The 2024 Hero World Challenge field is set with the passing of the PGA Tour tournament entry deadline. This week's PGA Tour field is set for this Challenge event, played at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas from December 5-8, 2024.

Hero World Challenge field is headlined by the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Ludvig Aberg, Wyndham Clark and more.

This is set to be a 20-player field is played out over four days, with this event marking an unofficial tournament on the 2024 PGA Tour schedule.

The tournament is being played in its originally intended slot, with the PGA Tour sanctioning this event hosted by Tiger Woods. There are no FedEx Cup points on the line, though there are Official World Golf Ranking points on the line.

We do not yet have Monday qualifiers for this event, which will be played Thursday through Sunday.

The Hero World Challenge alternate list is based off of players who have the next-best status to get in the event.

The field will be playing for a $5 million purse, with 20 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.
