The 2026 Farmers Insurance Open continues the PGA Tour season with the event at Torrey Pines Golf Courses near San Diego, California, welcoming 144 world-class players to the PGA Tour event.

The 2026 Farmers Insurance Open betting odds indicate this week's favorite is Xander Schauffele, who comes in at 16-to-1 (+1600) betting odds.

Ludvig Aberg is 18-to-1 this week and next best on the odds table this week.

Cameron Young is next on the board at 22-to-1 heading into the week, and the rest of the board follows for the first PGA Tour field of the year.

2026 Farmers Insurance Open betting picks

The Farmers Insurance Open is the third event of the season, with the PGA Tour returning to the San Diego area for a two-course event on the South (host) and the North at Torrey Pines.

These are beefy golf courses, particularly the South, which stretches to nearly 7,800 yards. It's a lot to take on, and players have to keep the ball in play to give themselves a chance. That doesn't mean being crazy long off the tee.

Keegan Bradley has a good record in this tournament, and he can recover from a lousy opener at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Jason Day played well enough to win at PGA West last weekend, and he's got a strong West Coast record, including in this tournament.

Michael Thorbjornsen may be a worthwhile gamble this week given his length and how he's inching his way toward a breakthrough win.

Matt McCarty has figured out how to play this tour, and he seems much more confident in a second full year on this circuit.
