2026 Farmers Insurance Open expert picks and rankings
1. Xander Schauffele: Xander didn't have the follow-up that he would have wanted to his 2024, but he's got a solid track record here.
2. Jason Day: Maybe this is an early call, but Day has a strong Torrey Pines history and played very well last week in Palm Springs.
3. Chris Gotterup: Gotterup has the muscle to play Torrey South without as much issue as other players, and he's already on the board this year.
4. Ryan Gerard: Gerard has finished runner-up in both 2026 PGA Tour events, so there's plenty of momentum there.

6. Cameron Young: Young ended 2025 in brilliant fashion, and a lot of people are expected him to have an even bigger year in 2026.
7. Keegan Bradley: Bradley had a week to regroup from a disappointing start at Waialae, and he shows up to a place he likes.
8. Si Woo Kim: Si Woo didn't have it on Sunday in the final group at PGA West, but he's been in the top 11 in both events this year. He's poised to play well.
9. Will Zalatoris: I'm quite reluctant to buy into Zalatoris after more back issues, but he played well very at the AmEx and has done well at Torrey Pines.
10. Ludvig Aberg: I had to drop down Aberg because he withdrew from The American Express before the Saturday round, but otherwise I would like him.
