The 2025 PGA Championship continues the PGA Tour season with the event at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., welcoming 156 world-class players to the PGA Tour event and PGA of America-run major championship.

The 2025 PGA Championship betting odds indicate this week's favorites are Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler, who come in at 9-to-2 (+450) betting odds. Scheffler won his last time out, and Rory won the Masters and has taken a title on the host course four times.

Bryson DeChambeau is next best on the odds board at 10-to-1 to start the week. DeChambeau let the Masters slip away, but he won on LIV Golf in Mexico.

Justin Thomas, Ludvig Aberg and defending champion Xander Schauffele are sitting on 20-to-1, as all have been playing well recently and like setups like this.

2025 PGA Championship betting picks

PGA Championship is a great tournament that has plenty of history. The host course gives up plenty of scoring, and it's pretty wide open off the tee.

You almost certainly have to play Justin Thomas given his 2017 PGA win here and his T-2 last weekend, as well as his Harbour Town win.

Viktor Hovland kinda intrigues me this week because his length should play, but his short game won't be hampered by the expected setup.

Patrick Reed may be an interesting sleeper for a few reasons, including the 2017 PGA Championship showdown.
