The 2026 US Open Thursday tee times and groupings for the first round have been released, with threesomes featuring the best golfers in the world competing at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.
The 2026 US Open format features a field of 156 players competing in the third major of the year. For the first two rounds, the players will compete in threesomes off the 1st and 10th tees.
After the first two rounds, there will be a cut to the top 60 and ties for the final two rounds.
The 2026 US Open first round is set to start at 6:35 a.m. local time -- or 6:35 a.m. Eastern time -- with the first tee times of the day going off the 1st and 10th tees. Tee times run through 2:42 p.m. local time -- or 2:42 p.m. Eastern time -- with the final groups of the day.
