The 2025 The Genesis Invitational field is set with the passing of the PGA Tour tournament entry deadline. The field is set for this FedEx Cup Signature event, played at Torrey Pines' South Course near San Diego, Calif., from February 13-16, 2025.
The Genesis Invitational field is headlined by the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Hideki Matsuyama, tournament host Tiger Woods and more.
This is set to be a 72-player field is played out over four days, with this event marking the 7th tournament of the 2025 PGA Tour schedule.
The tournament is being played in its originally intended slot, with this being the second Signature event of the West Coast Swing. However, the event was moved from The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., near Los Angeles, in response to the catastrophic damage caused by recent wildfires.
We do not have Monday qualifiers for this event, which will be played Thursday though Sunday.
The Genesis Invitational alternate list has already been set, with Mark Hubbard and Jake Knapp being the first two players on the list. Hideki Matsuyama is the defending champion.
The field will be playing for a $20 million purse, with 46 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.
