The 2025 The American Express field is set with the passing of the PGA Tour tournament entry deadline. This week's PGA Tour field is set for this FedEx Cup event, played at PGA West in La Quinta, California, from January 16-19, 2025.

The American Express field is headlined by the likes of Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay and more.

This is set to be a 156-player field is played out over four days, with this event marking the first full-field tournament in the mainland United States of the FedEx Cup season on the 2025 PGA Tour schedule.

The tournament is being played in its originally intended slot, with the PGA Tour starting the 2025 season on the mainland United States in Palm Springs in a three-course pro-am tournament.

We do not have Monday qualifiers for this event. There are two spots still held open for sponsor exemptions.

The American Express alternate list will be used to replace any withdrawing players in the field. The first two alternates are Anders Albertson and Norman Xiong.

The field will be playing for an $8.8 million purse, with 19 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.
