The PGA Tour this week has two events, with the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational starting on Thursday at Bay Hill in Orlando, Florida.
We also have the Puerto Rico Open as our oppo event, with a field of 120 players taking on the Grand Reserve Golf Club.

My PGA Tour field ranking for the Arnold Palmer Invitational looks at the top 10 players in this 72-player field that brings together the PGA Tour's top 50 from last season, as well as winners and other high-performing players from this young season.
The Arnold Palmer Invitational is the Signature event of the Florida Swing, and 48 of the world top 50 are in the field. Bay Hill is always pretty tricky, especially with deep rough or water practically everywhere there isn't fairway.
Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational rankings.
2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational expert picks and rankings
1. Scottie Scheffler: The world No. 1 is still behind on where he'd like to be this season, but he's won twice here in three years and seems to be going in the right direction.
2. Rory McIlroy: McIlroy is the clear No. 2 here given his course history and a win this season at Pebble Beach. His driving pays off here.
3. Ludvig Aberg: Ludvig won big at Torrey Pines and demonstrated a champion's mentality to come back for the win. He should fly here.
4. Xander Schauffele: This is as much a respect play as anything. We have no idea where he is physically, but he's clearly a top player.
5. Maverick McNealy: This may be putting McNealy too high on the board, but he's been great the last two times out and in half his starts this year.

6. Hideki Matsuyama: Hideki won the opener, and he was T-13 at Torrey, both places he likes. He hasn't been as good otherwise, but he's still great.
7. Sepp Straka: I don't think Straka will like Bay Hill in the way he loves PGA National, but he's been terrific all season.
8. Keegan Bradley: The Captain has been enjoying himself this year, and he has a good record at the King's former Florida home.
9. Russell Henley: Henley is a threat to win because of form and course history, though it doesn't seem all that realistic.
10. Harris English: English is a huge longshot this week against stiff competition, but he likes the course and has won this year.
