2026 US Open: PGA Tour betting odds, futures picks and winner tips

The 2026 US Open continues the PGA Tour season with the event at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York, welcoming 156 world-class players to the PGA Tour-sanctioned and USGA-conducted major championship event.

The 2026 US Open betting odds indicate this week's favorite is Scottie Scheffler, who come in at +550 betting odds.

Rory McIlroy is 12-to-1 as he looks to earn a third leg of a second career Grand Slam, though he has been marginal since winning the Masters.

Jon Rahm is 13-to-1, as he looks to take momentum from the PGA Championship and turn it into a second US Open title.

This is the toughest US Open venue, in my opinion. I know Oakmont is extremely difficult, but it's also imminently fair. Shinnecock isn't always fair, both in terms of the course itself and the way the USGA likes to really make this place sparkle. The wind can be a big battle. That said, the last two champions here have been US Open specialists.

Bryson DeChambeau may be all of the place here, but he is nothing if not a US Open specialist. The width works for his driver, and the bomb-and-gouge strategy could play into his hands.

Tyrrell Hatton has a bit of a knack for USGA championships, though I think Tommy Fleetwood is the better Englishman to like here this week.

Xander Schauffele has long seemed to me like an inevitable US Open champion, and now he's already gone and won two others to make this perhaps a little easier.
