The 2026 Travelers Championship final leaderboard will be headed by a winner that's either Scottie Scheffler or Viktor Hovland in the PGA Tour Signature event at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.

Scheffler or Hovland will win this event, which goes to a Monday playoff finish after both players finished regulation tied on 21-under 259.

Hovland shot 1-under 69 in the final round, while Scheffler made a clutch 8-foot par putt on the 72nd hole to shoot 68 and force a sudden-death playoff at 9 a.m. on Monday on the 18th hole.

Collin Morikawa finished in third place on 20-under total after a closing 61 put him in position as the clubhouse leader throughout the day, including during a weather delay that forces the Monday finish.

Scheffler or Hovland will win the $3,600,000 winner's share of the $20,000,000 purse.

Travelers Championship recap notes

Scheffler or Hovland will earn 67 Official World Golf Ranking points with the win in the 72-hole stroke-play championship, which helps their place in the world ranking.

Scheffler or Hovland will earn 700 FedEx Cup points as a PGA Tour member, with the PGA Tour points offered at the Signature level for this event.

A total of 72 (of 72) players finished the tournament, where a 36-hole cut was not made in this event to the top 65 and ties through two rounds.

The 2026 PGA Tour schedule continues next week with the John Deere Classic in Illinois.
