The 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii continues the PGA Tour season with the event at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii, welcoming 120 world-class players to the PGA Tour event.

The 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii betting odds indicate this week's favorite is Russell Henley, who comes in at 12-to-1 (+1200) betting odds.

Ben Griffin is 16-to-1 this week and next best on the odds table this week.

JJ Spaun and Hideki Matsuyama are next on the board at 20-to-1 heading into the week, and the rest of the board follows for the first PGA Tour field of the year.

2026 Sony Open in Hawaii betting picks

The Sony Open in Hawaii is the first event of the season, with the Honolulu portion of the traditional Aloha Swing being the only one played this year.

Waialae is a short course by modern standards, but the rough can be gnarly in places, and the greens are not especially big. Keep the ball in play and hit a lot of greens to create opportunities to score -- pretty ABC stuff.

Keegan Bradley is an auto-play for me this week given that he's been in the top 12 here three of the last four years and had a nice off-season.

Russell Henley would be a decent hedge here as the favorite. He loves this place, and he's the peak version of himself.

A decent pivot would be Nick Taylor, considering he's defending champion and has as good of a record here as the two players already mentioned.

Ryan Gerard might be worth a look, too, given that he stayed somewhat busy in the offseason and likes places like this.
