The 2025 US Open field is set with the passing of the PGA Tour tournament entry deadline. The field is set for this USGA-run major champonship event, played at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, from June 12-15, 2025.
The US Open field is headlined by the likes of Rory McIlroy, Scottie Schffler, Bryson DeChambeau and more.
This is set to be a 156-player field is played out over four days, with this event marking the 27th tournament of the 2025 PGA Tour schedule.
The tournament is being played in its originally intended slot, with this being the USGA's national championship played again at Oakmont, the most-frequent host of the US Open.
We do not have Monday qualifiers for this event, which will be played Thursday though Sunday. Approximately one-fourth of the field was decided via final qualifying events.
The US Open alternate list has already been set, though it is a bit of a secret who are currently sitting as the first two players on the list after a handful of players were added on Sunday night.
The field will be playing for a $21.5 million purse (based on 2024 figures), with 48 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.
