The PGA Tour this week features the 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans starting on Thursday at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, Louisiana.
My PGA Tour field ranking for Zurich Classic of New Orleans looks at the top 10 teams in this 160-player field that brings together the best golfers in the world in two-player teams.
The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is a fantastic change of pace, and the tournament got a great buzz last year with Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry winning.
TPC Louisiana is not a particularly tough course, though it does have a great variety of holes and long par 3s and par 5s.
Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans rankings.
2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans expert picks and rankings
1. Rory McIlrory and Shane Lowry: The Masters champ and a former Open champ running it back, playing great golf?
2. Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kitayama: Morikawa is a great ballstriker, and Kitayama bangs the ball out there. It should work.
3. Robert MacIntyre and Thomas Detry: It's a similar idea as the above duo, but MacIntyre has been a stud of late.
4. Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin: Novak has been all over it this year, losing in a Harbour Town playoff, while Griffin is very consistent.
5. Tom Hoge and Billy Horschel: Hoge is playing fantastic golf, and Horschel just loves this team stuff as evidenced by TGL.

6. Sepp Straka and Thorbjorn Olesen: This is a fascinating duo, with Olesen playing some decent golf of late and Straka looking for a little pick-me-up.
7. The Brothers Hojgaard: Nicolai and Rasmus are getting their game together, and they have the whole family vibe that's interesting.
8. Keith Mitchell and JT Poston: Mitchell almost got it done at Corales, and the Postman is a fantastic teammate.
9. Aaron Rai and Sahith Theegala: I think this is an interesting duo because of how well Rai has been playing and Sahith's emotional attachment to team play and getting out of any trouble they find.
10. Garrick Higgo and Ryan Fox: Fox is figuring out better play on the PGA Tour and Higgo is coming off the high of a win in the D.R.
