2025 Masters: PGA Tour one-and-done fantasy golf picks

PGA Tour one-and-done is perhaps the best fantasy golf game, with season-long leagues that give players a chance to pick one player for each tournament in the league season.

Once again in 2025, we offer weekly PGA Tour one-and-done golf picks for leagues of all kinds, including survivor leagues where the selected player must make the cut for the entry to continue to the next tournament.

We continue our 2025 PGA Tour one-and-done picks with the 2025 Masters, concluding at the 2025 Tour Championship, keeping track of our picks all along the way.

Before we begin, if you're not familiar with game, read this primer on the one-and-done fantasy golf format, and welcome to the game. It really is as easy as it sounds, but you have to take a long-term view of the season to figure out how best to use players.

This week, we have the Masters, with the first major of the year at Augusta National.

Last week, we took Tommy Fleetwood, who was in OK shape after Day 1 and then kind of gave way to the crummy conditions and didn't put up maximum effort.

This week, we're at Augusta National. The good thing is the Masters is one of the easiest tournaments to predict. There are lots of rules that tell us who can and can't win, and they tend to hold up really well. Basically, you want guys that have played well so far this year.

My one-and-done recommendations fall into one of two categories: players who are in current form and those who have great course experience.

2025 Masters One and Done picks

Course history

  • Scottie Scheffler: Can the two-time champion become the fourth player to go back-to-back?
  • Brooks Koepka: Koepka was second in Singapore on LIV, where he loves to play. He has done everything on this course but win.
  • Corey Conners: Conners has been strong much of this season, and his Augusta National history is sneaky good.
  • Collin Morikawa: Morikawa continues to put himself in contention, and he's second on the Tour in strokes gained.

Current form

  • Rory McIlroy: McIlroy has won twice this year, which he's never done before the Masters. Is this his time?
  • Patrick Reed: Reed found something in LIV recently, and he does have a great course record.
  • Sepp Straka: Straka has been all-around fantastic in 2025, including an early win. Can he step up in class?
  • Shane Lowry: Lowry has been fabulous this year, and he does seem to thrive in the toughest situations.

My pick this week is Rory McIlroy.
