The PGA Tour this week features the 2025 Valspar Championship starting on Thursday at Innisbrook Resort near Tampa, Florida.

My PGA Tour field ranking for Valspar Championship looks at the top 10 players in this 156-player field that brings together the PGA Tour's best to the Tampa area stop.

The Valspar Championship is a strong follow-up to The Players, and almost half of the world top 50 are in the field. Innisbrook is a great resort, and the Copperhead Course demands a lot of players. This is a flusher's paradise.

Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2025 Valspar Championship rankings.

2025 Valspar Championship expert picks and rankings

1. Justin Thomas: JT is the horse-for-course play this week, and he had a decent enough week at The Players.

2. Sepp Straka: Straka has been fabulous all year, and he does seem to love some Florida golf.

3. Tommy Fleetwood: Fleetwood has been in the top 14 in his last three PGA Tour starts. Enough said.

4. Akshay Bhatia: Bhatia honestly should have won The Players with a better putter in hand.

5. Xander Schauffele: This is a respect thing, but Schauffele shot 81 in the final round at Sawgrass, which is concerning.

6. Shane Lowry: Lowry and the Europeans tend to do well here and PGA National, and Lowry will be coming off a decent Players.

7. Corey Conners: Conners isn't the horse-for-course Canadian this week (that's Adam Hadwin), but his ballstriking should serve him well here.

8. Thomas Detry: Detry has found success on courses with more claustrophobic tee shots, and the Copperhead has plenty.

8. Lucas Glover: Glover had himself a great week at The Players, and that could well continue here.

10. Sam Burns: Burns is a two-time winner here and loves Innisbrook, but there's not a lot of good in current results.
