2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship: PGA Tour one-and-done fantasy golf picks

PGA Tour one-and-done is perhaps the best fantasy golf game, with season-long leagues that give players a chance to pick one player for each tournament in the league season.

Once again in 2026, we offer weekly PGA Tour one-and-done golf picks for leagues of all kinds, including survivor leagues where the selected player must make the cut for the entry to continue to the next tournament.

We continue our 2026 PGA Tour one-and-done picks with the 2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship, concluding at the 2026 Tour Championship, keeping track of our picks all along the way.

Before we begin, if you're not familiar with game, read this primer on the one-and-done fantasy golf format, and welcome to the game. It really is as easy as it sounds, but you have to take a long-term view of the season to figure out how best to use players.

This week, we have the FedEx St. Jude Championship, with the PGA Tour heading into the playoffs at a scorching hot venue that doesn't necessarily reward length...or great putting.

The FedEx St. Jude Championship has a strong 69-player field taking on the first leg of the playoffs, with every player in the top 40 practically assured of going to St. Louis next week for the second leg.

Let's try to wrap up strong. Tom Kim made a ton of sense last week, and he did what we thought he would, which is great.

Now, we have three no-cut events to round out the season.

Heading into the playoffs, here are the top players I haven't used:

Russell Henley (I will use him at the Tour Championship)
Aaron Rai
Robert MacIntyre
Ryan Fox
Sepp Straka
Alex Noren
Kris Reitan
Akshay Bhatia
JT Poston
Jackson Koivun

2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship One and Done picks

  • Akshay Bhatia: Bhatia has a very good track record here the last two years, despite coming off two MCs in a row.
  • Jackson Koivun: Koivun has to be special this week to get into the BMW Championship, which may be a case for using him.
  • Viktor Hovland: Hovland seems to thrive in this venue and in the playoffs, so perhaps a good spot for him.
  • Hideki Matsuyama: He feels like the most obvious play this week given form and history, but he could be tired.

My pick this week is Akshay Bhatia.
