PGA Tour one-and-done is perhaps the best fantasy golf game, with season-long leagues that give players a chance to pick one player for each tournament in the league season.

Once again in 2026, we offer weekly PGA Tour one-and-done golf picks for leagues of all kinds, including survivor leagues where the selected player must make the cut for the entry to continue to the next tournament.

We continue our 2026 PGA Tour one-and-done picks with the 2026 Texas Children's Houston Open, concluding at the 2026 Tour Championship, keeping track of our picks all along the way.

Before we begin, if you're not familiar with game, read this primer on the one-and-done fantasy golf format, and welcome to the game. It really is as easy as it sounds, but you have to take a long-term view of the season to figure out how best to use players.

This week, we have the Texas Children's Houston Open, with the PGA Tour moving to Houston for the final charge into the Masters Tournament.

It's Texas Children's Houston Open week, and the 135-player field this week is taking on one of the better ballstriking tests on Tour. This course is pretty demanding from tee to green, but it's open enough for everyday people to play, too.

I have to raise my hand on a mea culpa here. I swore I had Brooks Koepka as my official pick last week, but I had Viktor Hovland, and he missed the cut. I had Brooks on the list, so hopefully you took him and did OK or leaned into Marco Penge, who I liked from a betting perspective. Either way, let's get 'em this week.

2026 Texas Children's Houston Open One and Done picks

  • Gary Woodland: Woodland has played well here twice in the last three years, and he looked good in Tampa, where he has played well in the past.
  • Stephan Jaeger: Jaeger seems to love Memorial Park, as he's been in the top 15 here, includng a win, in the last three years.
  • Brooks Koepka: Koepka has been making a few too many mistakes to seriously contend to win, but there's a lot of good there. He was T-5 here in 2021 before going to LIV.
  • Marco Penge: Penge has realized he can play on this tour, and his tee-to-green game is good enough to contend quite often.

My pick this week is Brooks Koepka.
