The 2026 The Players Championship final leaderboard is headed by winner Cameron Young, who earned the PGA Tour win in the event at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Young won the tournament for his second-career PGA Tour win with a one-shot victory over Matt Fitzpatrick on 13-under 275, holding off Matt Fitzpatrick for the biggest PGA Tour title.
After Young made a dramatic birdie on the par-3 17th to tie Fitzpatrick, he piped a 375-yard drive in the fairway down the par-4 18th, marking the longest drive on the hole in the ShotLink (2003-present) era. Fitzpatrick hit his tee shot into the pine straw, and he was forced to pitch the ball just short of the green.
Young missed his birdie putt, but then Fitzpatrick missed his closer par putt, with Young tapping in for par to win.
Ludvig Aberg, the 54-hole leader by three, struggled on Sunday and fell down the leaderboard after back-to-back water balls and resulting double bogeys on Nos. 11 and 12. He finished at 9-under total.
Young won the $4,500,000 winner's share of the $25,000,000 purse.

Young earned 750 FedEx Cup points as a PGA Tour member, with the PGA Tour points offered at the major level for this event.
