Grand Reserve Golf Club scorecard breakdown

Grand Reserve Golf Club has four par 5s, four par 3s and 10 par 4s, and the golf course finishes with two stout par 3s and two good-length par 4s that make pars important.

There's a similar length in the par 3s between sides, ranging from 192 yards to 236 yards. They par 3s are all challenging, but the water in play on a variety of par 4s make the approach shots particularly tricky.

The par 5s can be scoring opportunities, but the flipping of the nines here makes the middle of the round especially important since all the par 5s are from No. 6 to No. 14.

Grand Reserve Golf Club course breakdown

Now that we know the layout of the golf course, what else makes Grand Reserve Golf Club a challenge?

The biggest challenge on this golf course is wind, when it appears, because it can make a lot of the shots with water uncomfortable. Otherwise, the course overall plays pretty wide off the tee and has big putting surfaces for pros.

The par 3s are great on this course, as they're long and offer different challenges.

The most important thing to playing this course well is avoiding big misses, as those can be punished pretty severely compared to small ones.
