2026 Puerto Rico Open expert picks and rankings
1. Rasmus Hojgaard: Hojgaard has the biggest winning experience of any player in this field, and he's been solid a lot of this season.
2. Haotong Li: Haotong is going to have a lot of fun this year, and he's played pretty solidly on the PGA Tour.
3. Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen: The Aussie Open winner is an excellent choice this week, and he's been pretty consistent in making money this year.
4. Matti Schmid: Schmid is a bit of a horse-for-course pick, as he does well here and in tropical environments.
5. Eric Cole: Cole doesn't really want to be here this week, but he's a grinder, and he can beat this field.

6. Davis Thompson: Thompson has been a strong player, and he's kind of wedged between being in the upper echelon and stuck here.
7. Ricky Castillo: Castillo is going to get great odds this week because of his top 5 last week, but he's otherwise played OK this year.
8. Adrien Dumont De Chassart: ADDC has a few top-25 finishes so far this year, and he's played well in the past in events like this.
9. Michael Brennan: Brennan has been doing OK in his first run through the PGA Tour schedule, but this event should work to his advantage.
10. Taylor Montgomery: Montgomery is a bit of a flier pick here, but he is coming here after playing very well last week on the Korn Ferry Tour.
