Course Fit: Comparing PGA Tour courses

Fantasy golf players and golf bettors need to understand that not every course plays the same.

Every course has its own unique demands, and those demands line up with players differently. While the world's best players will tend to find a way to perform most anywhere, there are some players whose games line up better with certain venues than others.

With this variation of our Course Fit tool, we're showing off the Strokes Gained breakdown -- Putting, Approach, Off the Tee, Tee to Green -- for the top 25 in PGA Tour events for the last five years and comparing it to each annual host course.

Each percentage is expressed as a decimal, meaning 0.50 is 50 percent, 0.68 is 68 percent, and so forth.

With this data in hand, we can see a direct difference in what each course requires of players.

NOTE: Not every annual host course offers ShotLink/Strokes Gained data.
