The Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches is the start of the Florida Swing, and we've got a decent field assembled this week. The Bear Trap is the headliner, but the whole Champion Course is tough and exacting. Lots of random results can happen here.

2025 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches expert picks and rankings
1. Daniel Berger: I may immediately regret this, but Berger likes the golf course and has played very well the last few months. He's building to something big.
2. Sepp Straka: Straka has won here in the past, and he's already won this season. There's not a lot to dislike.
3. Shane Lowry: Lowry could be anywhere in the top five here, but he has a good track record at PGA National and has been solid for months.
4. Taylor Pendrith: Pendrith has been enjoying a great season, and he should be able to dial in prety well here.
5. Russell Henley: Henley has been great here in the past, and he's had some good results this year.

6. Jordan Spieth: Honestly, I'm not sure what to expect from Spieth. He was great in Phoenix and stinky everywhere else.
7. Luke Clanton: Clanton is on the verge of getting his PGA Tour card, and he just walloped a bunch of college kids and won, so could be a big week.
8. Min Woo Lee: Min Woo hasn't played a lot this year, but he's been pretty solid, and he can get around without much trouble.
9. Denny McCarthy: Denny has some decent results here, and he had a great run toward a first win at Torrey Pines.
10. Lee Hodges: Hodges has played well here and has been solid recently. He seems to like courses heavy on the water hazards.
