The 2017 Valspar Championship purse is set for $6.3 million, with the winner's share coming in at $1,134,000 -- the standard 18 percent payout according to the PGA Tour's prize money distribution chart.

The Valspar Championship field is headed by Justin Thomas, Henrik Stenson, Patrick Reed and defending champion Charl Schwartzel.

The event is in the Tampa area, with Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead Course, including its Snake Pit finish, offering a stern test.
