The 2026 Zurich Classic of New Orleans final leaderboard is headed by winners Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick, who earned the PGA Tour win in the event at TPC Lousiana in Avondale, Louisiana.

The Fitzpatricks won this tournament, the only official team event on the PGA Tour schedule, with a birdie 4 on the par-5 18th to win the event by a shot on 31-under 257 over two teams: Alex Smalley and Hayden Springer, as well as Kristoffer Reitan and Kris Ventura.

The final day of the tournament (and the second day) were played in the alternate-shot format, which is much more difficult. The Fitzpatricks shot 1-under 71 in the final round, following up a tournament record 15-under 57 in the best-ball third round. It was good enough.

With the final, Matt Fitzpatrick wins in back-to-back weeks on the PGA Tour and gets his third win of the season. Alex Fitzpatrick, already a winner this season on the DP World Tour, now has an instant two-year PGA Tour exemption and entry into the PGA Championship and all the remaining Signature events this year.

The Fitzpatrick brothers won the $2,745,500 (or $1,372,750 each) winners' share of the $9,500,000 purse.

Zurich Classic of New Orleans recap notes

Neither Fitzpatrick earned Official World Golf Ranking points with the win in the 72-hole stroke-play championship, as team events don't count for the OWGR.

The Fitzpatricks each earned 400 FedEx Cup points as a PGA Tour member, with the PGA Tour points offered at the standard level for this event, and the brothers splitting 800 total points.

A total of 70 (of 148) players finished the tournament, where a 36-hole cut was not made in this event to the top 33 teams and ties through two rounds.

The 2026 PGA Tour schedule continues next week with the 2026 Cadillac Championship in Florida.
