2026 RBC Heritage: Expert picks, PGA Tour field rankings and fantasy golf tips

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - NOVEMBER 16: Matt Fitzpatrick of England poses with the DP World Tour Championship trophy on the 18th green following victory in the play-off on day four of the DP World Tour Championship 2025 at Jumeirah Golf Estates on November 16, 2025 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The PGA Tour this week features the 2026 RBC Heritage starting on Thursday at Harbour Town in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

My PGA Tour field ranking for RBC Heritage looks at the top 10 players in this 82-player field that brings together the best in the world for the post-Masters Signature event.

The RBC Heritage is the traditional post-Masters dessert, and Harbour Town Golf Links feels in may ways like the opposite golf course to Augusta National. There's a great field here this week to take on a renovated course, which should play a little firmer. It's a demanding second-shot golf course, with narrow playing corridors and small greens.

Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2026 RBC Heritage rankings.

2026 RBC Heritage expert picks and rankings

1. Scottie Scheffler: Scheffler seems to have figured out his driver again, which is great. Now he just has to figure out what to do to get rid of the one goose-egg round per tournament.

2. Matt Fitzpatrick: Fitz is going to be seen as the best horse-for-course play this week, particularly as a champion a few years ago. He had a decent T-18 at the Masters.

3. Cameron Young: Young couldn't quite duplicate his Saturday 65 on Sunday, but he'll learn from that and get better.

4. Russell Henley: Henley plays this tournament very well over the years, and he had a taste of the green jacket last weekend.

5. Xander Schauffele: Xander has played three great events in a row with strong finishes, and that trend should continue.

6. Patrick Cantlay: Cantlay finally put it together at Augusta a bit better than he had been, and he has a fabulous track record at this event.

7. Collin Morikawa: What Morikawa did at Augusta with a lousy back and the side effects of that was amazing. This is a place that should work for him.

8. Sam Burns: Burns was right in there til the end at Augusta National, and he's been in the top 15 here two of the last three years.

9. Jordan Spieth: Spieth has done quite well at Harbour Town, including a win, over the years. He says he's hitting the ball great, but he needs a little more to get over the hump.

10. Shane Lowry: Lowry had a terrible Sunday at Augusta, and that kind of thing happens sometimes. But he really likes the lowcountry and has a good record here.
