The PGA Tour this week features the 2026 The Genesis Invitational starting on Thursday at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California.

My PGA Tour field ranking for The Genesis Invitational looks at the top 10 players in this 72-player field that brings together the best in the world for the second Signature event of the year.

The Genesis Invitational is the biggest event of the year so far (again), with 41 of the world top 50 are in the field this week at Riviera. Scottie Scheffler is by far the No. 1 player in the world, and then it follows from there. He played good golf for half the week at Pebble and nearly won.

Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2026 The Genesis Invitational rankings.

2026 The Genesis Invitational expert picks and rankings

1. Scottie Scheffler: Scheffler is going to win at Riv eventually, it's just a matter of time.

2. Rory McIlroy: Rory had to be pleased to find something to go low on Sunday after a pretty lousy day off the day on Saturday at Pebble.

3. Collin Morikawa: Morikawa earned his first win in more than two years on Sunday, and he's a big fan of the game at Riviera.

4. Hideki Matsuyama: Hideki is the defending champion here, as Torrey Pines hosted this event last year. He was very solid at Pebble Beach over the weekend.

5. Tommy Fleetwood: Fleetwood found himself on the fringes of contention at Pebble on Sunday, and that might be an encouraging sign.

6. Si Woo Kim: Si Woo just isn't backing down, and it feels like he's playing every week. Eventually, he'll tire, but it hasn't happened yet.

7. Chris Gotterup: I'm not entirely convinced that Gotterup is going to be a big fan of Riv this week, but his game travels very well.

8. Xander Schauffele: The results aren't quite there yet, but there were good signs last week, and he's a big horse-for-course play this week.

9. Sepp Straka: Straka has played himself into form in a hurry, and he performed well under the greatest pressure down the stretch.

10. Min Woo Lee: After a few shaky starts, he had a great week at Pebble Beach. This course should suit his Aussie eye.
