The 2024 Nedbank Golf Challenge final leaderboard is headed by winner Johannes Veerman, who topped the DP World Tour leaderboard this week with a win at Gary Player Country Club in Sun City, South Africa.
Veerman won on the DP World Tour to start their new season (and on the Sunshine Tour to continue their season), with a one-shot win over Romain Langasque, Aldrich Potgieter and Matthew Jordan on 5-under 283.
The American Veerman shot 3-under 69 in a difficult final round -- a difficult scoring week, really -- and then had to wait for the overnight leader Potgieter. Potgieter made triple-bogey 6 on the 12th, and that opened the door for Veerman. Potgieter made bogey on the 72nd hole to drop out of the leader and lose the event.
Veerman won the €969,273.82 winner's share of the $6,000,000 purse.
Nedbank Golf Challenge recap notes
Veerman earned 665 Race to Dubai points as a DP World Tour member, with its season-long Race to Dubai points race starting up again. He also earned 21 Official World Golf Ranking points.
There was no 36-hole cut, with 66 of 66 starting players finishing the event in the 3rd completed event of the season.
The 2025 DP World Tour schedule continues with the Alfred Dunhill Championship next week.
