Wade Ormsby's KLM Open ace won him a year's supply of beer

On Saturday at the KLM Open, a pair of European Tour aces set and the added to the new record for the most holes-in-one in a single Tour season.

Magnus Carlsson made the 40th ace of the year on the 227-yard par-3 eighth hole at Kennemer Golf and Country Club in the Netherlands, setting a new European Tour record and surpassing the 39 carded in 2006. (The PGA Tour record for a season is 44 in 1994.)

An hour later, Australian Wade Ormsby made the 41st hole-in-one on the campaign with a 7-iron from 169 yards at the 11th hole. For his effort, Ormsby won a year's supply of Warsteiner beer for the ace. Then again, Andy Sullivan won a trip to outer space with a space tourism firm for an ace in this tournament in 2014. So, which prize is better?

Ormsby trails co-leaders Lee Slattery and Rafael Cabrera-Bello by three shots heading into the final round, tied for fifth place.
