The actor who played Shooter McGavin was arrested near Wilmington, N.C., on early Wednesday morning under suspicion of driving under the the influence of alcohol.
Christoper McDonald, who played McGavin in "Happy Gilmore" among many other career roles, was pulled over by N.C. Highway Patrol officers and blew a reading of a 0.15 blood-alcohol content level, nearly twice the stats's legal limit of 0.08, according to KVUE-TV.

McDonald was arrested and placed in jail around 4:30 a.m. He is being held on $1,000 bond.
No word on if the guy McGavin calls into bother Happy Gilmore (the "Ya jackass!" guy) would help bail out McDonald...or meet at the Red Lobster afterward.
