The 2013 BMW Championship kicks off on Thursday just outside of Chicago at Conway Farms G.C., and, as has become custom, the top three players in the FedEx Cup standings will play together for the opening two rounds.
No. 1 Henrik Stenson, No. 2 Tiger Woods and No. 3 Adam Scott will play together for the first two days. Justin Rose, Brandt Snedeker and Steve Stricker are a group ahead. The Woods trio starts on the 10th tee at 10:53 a.m. local time (Central), with groups going off in 11-minute intervals. The top three play from the first tee at 11:59 a.m. local on Friday.

Phil Mickelson, Matt Kuchar and Graham DeLaet -- Nos. 4-6 in the standings -- are grouped together for the first two days as well.
There is no cut this week, meaning all 70 players will have four rounds to get into the top 30 in points and qualify for the Tour Championship next week in Atlanta.
