PGA Tour one-and-done is perhaps the best fantasy golf game, with season-long leagues that give players a chance to pick one player for each tournament in the league season.

Once again in 2026, we offer weekly PGA Tour one-and-done golf picks for leagues of all kinds, including survivor leagues where the selected player must make the cut for the entry to continue to the next tournament.

We continue our 2026 PGA Tour one-and-done picks with the 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge, concluding at the 2026 Tour Championship, keeping track of our picks all along the way.

Before we begin, if you're not familiar with game, read this primer on the one-and-done fantasy golf format, and welcome to the game. It really is as easy as it sounds, but you have to take a long-term view of the season to figure out how best to use players.

This week, we have the Charles Schwab Challenge, with the PGA Tour heading back to Colonial, which is one of my favorite course on Tour. It's tight, requires some old-school thinking and is a great examination, even if not long at all.

It's Charles Schwab Challenge week, and the 144-player field this week is taking on a test that will ask the player to get in play first and then start firing at flags.

We pretty much had it pegged, but the guys that I liked the most were already used. Thorbjornsen missed the cut after opening with 64, so that tells you how zany this thing was last week.

For this week, we have a pretty weak field, so I may just stick with the defending champion.

2026 Charles Schwab Challenge One and Done picks

  • Ben Griffin: Two of his last three starts have been very good, and I'd expect that run to continue.
  • Ludvig Aberg: This is a bit of a surprising one, though not out of the realm, that a Tech guy would play here. Has to dial it back a little, but he's won in Switzerland and Sea Island on tight courses.
  • Rickie Fowler: Fowler has been very strong of late, and this is the kind of place that can work well for him.
  • Brandt Snedeker: If you think there's some carryover from playing at The Dunes, and I do, why not pick the winner there?

My pick this week is Ben Griffin.
