The 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge field is set with the passing of the PGA Tour tournament entry deadline. The field is set for this FedEx Cup event, played at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, from May 28-31, 2026.
The Charles Schwab Challenge field is headlined by the likes of JJ Spaun, Ben Griffin, Ludvig Aberg, Justin Thomas and more. This event moves the PGA Tour into Ft. Worth for an event that Ben Hogan dominated.
This is set to be an 132-player field is played out over four days, with this event marking the 22nd tournament of the 2026 PGA Tour schedule.
The 144-player tournament is being played in its originally intended slot, continuing the 2026 PGA Tour season in an event that offers 500 FedEx Cup points and 55 Official World Golf Ranking points to the winner.
We do not have Monday qualifiers for this event, which will be played Thursday though Sunday.
The Charles Schwab Challenge alternate list has already been set, with the top names at present on the list set to replace any withdrawn players, starting with Jimmy Stanger and Brice Garnett.
The field will be playing for a $9.9 million purse, with 16 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.
