The PGA Tour this week features the 2026 Truist Championship starting on Thursday at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.
My PGA Tour field ranking for Truist Championship looks at the top 10 players in this 72-player field that brings together the best in the world for the latest PGA Tour Signature event.
The Truist Championship marks the PGA Tour's return to Quail Hollow, after taking a year off to host the PGA Championship.
Back-to-back Signature events might have an impact on the players, adding in that the Masters and Harbour Town was interrupted only by the Zurich (which the Fitzpatricks, both in this field, won). Quail Hollow is long and demanding, like Doral, but with more subtle looks.
Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2026 Truist Championship rankings.
2026 Truist Championship expert picks and rankings
1. Cam Young: Young is starting to realize that he has the game to be the No. 1 player in the world, and he's starting to play like it more consistently.
2. Matt Fitzpatrick: Fitz has been enjoying the run of his life, though he may be a little tired and take it a little slow this week.
3. Rory McIlroy: The Masters champion absolutely loves Quail Hollow, and he'll be ready to go after a good rest.
4. Xander Schauffele: Xander has been more like his 2024 self in the last few weeks, and it's reasonable to expect that continues.
5. Si Woo Kim: SWK has been enjoying one of the best years of his career, and he was strong once again at Doral.

6. Gary Woodland: Woodland once again had himself a nice week in a big event, and that should continue here at Quail Hollow.
7. Ludvig Aberg: It's tough to get behind Aberg consistently because of his inconsistency, but his game should suit the host course well.
8. Tommy Fleetwood: Fleetwood is a ballstriking machine, though it does feel like he's getting lost in the shuffle lately.
9. Sepp Straka: Straka won this last year in the Philly area, but more importantly, he's been playing well lately.
10. Alex Fitzpatrick: This is a bit of clickbait, I admit, but Fitzpatrick was fabulous at Doral and has every motivation to take quick advantage of his newfound status.
