The 2026 Truist Championship field is set with the passing of the PGA Tour tournament entry deadline. The field is set for this FedEx Cup event, played at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, from May 7-10, 2026.
The Truist Championship field is headlined by the likes of Rory McIlroy, Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick and more. This is an event returning to Quail Hollow after a year away to host the PGA Championship.
This is set to be an 72-player field is played out over four days, with this event marking the 18th tournament of the 2026 PGA Tour schedule.
The 72-player tournament is being played in its originally intended slot, continuing the 2026 PGA Tour season in an event that offers 700 FedEx Cup points and 58 Official World Golf Ranking points to the winner.
We do not have Monday qualifiers for this event, which will be played Thursday though Sunday. The Aon Swing 5 will be finalized based on the results of the Cadillac Championship.
The Truist Championship alternate list has already been set, with the top names at present on the list set to replace any withdrawn players, starting with Andrew Putnam and Jordan Smith.
The field will be playing for a $20 million purse, with 40 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.
