2026 The Genesis Invitational: PGA Tour one-and-done fantasy golf picks

PGA Tour one-and-done is perhaps the best fantasy golf game, with season-long leagues that give players a chance to pick one player for each tournament in the league season.

Once again in 2026, we offer weekly PGA Tour one-and-done golf picks for leagues of all kinds, including survivor leagues where the selected player must make the cut for the entry to continue to the next tournament.

We continue our 2026 PGA Tour one-and-done picks with the 2026 The Genesis Invitational, concluding at the 2026 Tour Championship, keeping track of our picks all along the way.

Before we begin, if you're not familiar with game, read this primer on the one-and-done fantasy golf format, and welcome to the game. It really is as easy as it sounds, but you have to take a long-term view of the season to figure out how best to use players.

This week, we have the The Genesis Invitational, with the PGA Tour moving into the LA area for a second Signature event in a row.

It's The Genesis Invitational week, and the 72-player field this week is taking on one of the shortest challenges on Tour, though the greens are small and tricky.

Justin Rose came out flat this week, but you had yourself a lovely weekend if you went with Scottie Scheffler or Sepp Straka from my tips. Let's try to align a little better this week!

2026 The Genesis Invitational One and Done picks

  • Tom Hoge: Hoge plays well here when he plays well at Pebble, and he played well at Pebble last week.
  • Sam Burns: Burns was solid at Riv two of the last four years, and he's coming off a good week in Monterey.
  • Xander Schauffele: Schauffele has one of the best Riviera records of anyone, and he might be playing his way into form.
  • Tommy Fleetwood: Fleetwood found something over the weekend at Pebble, and maybe he's ready to jumpstart his year.

My pick this week is Sam Burns.
