The 2026 PGA Tour schedule has been announced through the FedEx Cup season, with a familiar feel to the schedule that golf fans have been accustomed to seeing in recent years.

The PGA Tour is once again on a calendar-year schedule, with the FedEx Cup season running from the start in January through the end of the Tour Championship in August. The FedEx Cup Fall will still unfold from September through November, but these tournaments will not count toward the full-season FedEx Cup standings -- rather, they will be added on to the FedEx Cup points earned through the FedEx St. Jude Championship to determine the top 100 in PGA Tour cards.

Signature events

The PGA Tour signature events, all of which will have purses of at least $20 million, will add one new event for next season, with Trump National Doral hosting the Miami Championship in May. The order of the 2026 Signature events will be: the Sentry Tournament of Champions, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, The Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational, the RBC Heritage, the Miami Championship, the Memorial Tournament, the Truist Championship and the Travelers Championship. These events will offer 700 FedEx Cup points to the winners and will have limited fields based on the top 50 in the prior year's FedEx Cup standings and other criteria.

FedEx Cup playoffs

The FedEx Cup playoffs remain the same for 2026. The series will remain at three events, with the top 70 players in the standings at the end of the regular season will qualify, with cuts to 50, then to 30 players after each of the FedEx Cup events. The FedEx Cup bonus pool remains at $40 million, at least at present. The payout for the bonus pool changed mid-year in 2025 and may be subject to change this season.

FedEx Cup Fall

The FedEx Cup Fall will likely feature seven events. There has also been what amounts to standardization of purses in the FedEx Cup Fall, with most events at $6 million, except the Baycurrent Classic, whose purse is $8 million, with The RSM Classic purse at $7.4 million and the new Biltmore Championship Asheville kicking off the fall with a $5 million purse.

The FedEx Cup Fall will now identify the top 100 players in the standings that will keep status in 2027, down from the historical 125 number. Players ranked Nos. 51-60 through the FedExCup Fall earn their way into two early-season 2027 Signature events, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Genesis Invitational.
