2025 Ryder Cup final results: Leaderboard, match results, leading point winners

FARMINGDALE, NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 28: Europe Captain Luke Donald, Shane Lowry, Rasmus Hojgaard, Justin Rose, Jon Rahm, Sepp Straka, Ludvig Aberg, Rory McIlroy, Viktor Hovland, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Robert MacIntyre and Tyrrell Hatton of Team Europe hold the Ryder Cup trophy after their 15-13 victory during the trophy presentation ceremony following the Sunday singles matches of the 2025 Ryder Cup at Black Course at Bethpage State Park Golf Course on September 28, 2025 in Farmingdale, New York. The 2025 Ryder Cup final leaderboard is headed by winners Europe, who won the Ryder Cup on foreign soil for the first time since 2012 with a 15-13 win over the United States at Bethpage State Park's Black Course in Farmingdale, New York.

The European side, led by captain Luke Donald, had an unprecedented 7-point lead, 11.5 points to 4.5 points for the USA, heading into the final day with 12 singles matches scheduled.

In the end, the Europeans only won a single match (Ludvig Aberg over Patrick Cantlay), but they tied four others, including a split required by the rules after Viktor Hovland withdrew from his final-day match, forcing Harris English to sit out and take a half-point.

In Match 8, Shane Lowry made a birdie putt on the 18th hole of his match against Russell Henley to win the hole and secure a tie in the match that brought the Europeans to 14 points to earn at least a tie and keep possession of the Ryder Cup. When Tyrrell Hatton tied Collin Morikawa on the 18th hole in Match 10, the Europeans had secured more than half of the points to win the match outright.

The European team will defend the Ryder Cup on European soil in 2027 at Adare Manor in Ireland.
