The 2016 Web.com Tour Q-School was won by Jim Renner, who was the medalist in the 72-hole event at Orange County National near Orlando, Fla., at 17-under 269, beating Taylor Moore by three shots.
The top 45 players and ties in the final standings earn Web.com Tour status for 2017. Depending on the finish, a player with status can avoid some of the money-based priority-order reshuffles throughout the Web.com Tour season.
With the win, Renner is fully exempt for the season, avoids all reshuffles and wins $25,000 as the winner's share of the $510,000 purse.
