U.S. Junior Amateur finalist a win away from prom date with Holly Sonders

South Carolina native Andrew Orischak is on the cusp of the best day of his life.

Yeah, yeah, he can win the 2015 U.S. Junior Amateur on Saturday in the final at Colleton River Plantation Club in Bluffton, S.C., but, with a win, the 16-year-old will score a prom date with Fox Sports host Holly Sonders.

The 28-year-old former Golf Channel host promised Orischak that she would go to his Hilton Head Island High School prom next year if he wins the championship. After a pair of 3-and-2 wins in the Friday quarterfinal and semifinal rounds, that dream is almost reality.

Orischak didn't ask Sonders out on his own. Rather, his dad made the deal with Sonders.

If Orischak is to earn a date he'll talk about for years, he'll have to beat Philip Barbaree in the final after the LSU commit finished out a 1-up semifinal win on Saturday morning. Orischak won't lack motivation.

"That's a motivation," Orischak said, according to Golfweek. "If I'm feeling a little tired I just think: Holly at prom."
