Jordan Spieth’s 2015 schedule: What isn’t he playing?

Most major champions scale back their schedules pretty quickly after the biggest victory of their lives. Not Jordan Spieth. The 21-year-old said Wednesday at the RBC Heritage that he will continue to play a loaded schedule throughout the summer.

Spieth outlined a schedule that has him playing 14 times in an 18-week stretch, dating back to the Florida Swing, with Spieth playing five events in six weeks, including this week at Harbour Town. Spieth will then play the following schedule:

  • WGC-Cadillac Match Play
  • The Players Championship
  • Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial
  • AT&T Byron Nelson Championship
  • U.S. Open

Spieth will skip the Wells Fargo Championship and the Memorial in favor of playing his home-state events at Colonial and the Nelson, which is not only his hometown event, but also associated with one of his sponsors, AT&T.
