Even after 77 and a quarter Masters tournaments, the folks at Augusta National still have some tricks up their sleeves.

Masters officials unveiled a never-before-used hole location on the par-4 fifth hole for use in Friday's second round of the 2014 Masters.

The hole location, placed on the front-right portion of the green, has never been seen by a player in the Masters. The spot is fairly accessible, especially compared to other locations on the multi-tiered green. Located 11 paces on the green and five from the right edge, players could use the slope between the tiers to move their ball toward the cup for a birdie.
