Lindsey Vonn: I’m always trying to find ways to scare Tiger Woods

Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods seem to get along awfully well. They're fearless, champion athletes who excel with the most pressure on them.

No wonder it's a curiosity of Vonn's, then, as to what exactly it takes to spook Woods.

In an interview with John Ledford, Vonn described her obsession with trying to frighten her beau.

“He doesn’t scare easy, so I’m always trying to find ways to scare him. Clearly, that was a failed attempt, but he thought it was really funny, and it was cute," Vonn said, via Wei Under Par.

The latest way Vonn tried to scare Woods was by putting Sammy the Squirrel, of Presidents Cup fame, onto the world No. 1's shoulder during the opening day at Muirfield Village. Woods was so focused on the action that the unofficial team mascot wasn't even recognized.

“I tried to scare Tiger, but it didn’t quite work out," Vonn said. "He was too focused on Jordan (Spieth’s) shot."
