Peyton Manning & John Elway promo 2014 BMW Championship

Despite throwing an NFL record-tying seven touchdowns in the Denver Broncos' 49-27 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night, Peyton Manning is apparently indistinguishable from his boss and Hall-of-Famer John Elway.

However, both got in on a commercial promoting the 2014 BMW Championship at Cherry Hills C.C. near Denver.

The two, along with NBA player Chauncey Billups and former NFL defensive star John Lynch, are seen in "Husher School," learning how to be those people who hold up the signs telling golf galleries to be quiet before a fan swing. (Nevermind that "baba booey" and "mashed potatoes" guys don't pay attention to those signs.)

The video is pretty funny, even if the concept isn't explained too well in the 30-second spot.

Manning-Quiet-Please

Maybe Manning learned something from the shoot that he can use for the remainder of this season. No. 18 has recently talked about the hard time he's had in training the often raucous Denver Broncos home crowd to hush up when his offense is on the field.

The 2013 edition of the BMW Championship, the third leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, kicks off next Thursday at Conway Farms just outside of Chicago.
