Andrew Dodt makes two holes-in-one in single European Tour round

Don't you just hate those stories of an average hacker making a pair of aces in a round of golf when you've never had one?

Well, this is one of those stories, except on the European Tour. In Round 2 of the Nordea Masters in Sweden on Friday, Aussie Andrew Dodt made a pair of 1s at Bro Hof Slott G.C. Starting on the 10th hole, Dodt holed out for his first ace of the day at the par-3 11th hole from 175 yards, eventually turning in 4-under 32 after three other birdies and a bogey.

Then on the 16th hole of his round, Dodt did it again, but this time from 208 yards.

No other player on the European Tour has done what Dodt did Friday this season, but Keith Horne did manage to ace the same hole, the par-3 12th, in consecutive rounds during the Alfred Dunhill Championship in December 2012, the second event of the European Tour season.

Colin Montgomerie has the most aces in European Tour history with nine.

Dodt has one previous European Tour win, taking the Avantha Masters in India in 2010.
