USGA announces U.S. Open TV times on NBC, ESPN



Over 35 hours of live TV will chronicle the 2013 U.S. Open on NBC and ESPN, the USGA announced Friday.

ESPN will air the first two rounds from Merion Golf Club, just outside of Philadelphia, on June 13-14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET, followed by coverage on NBC each day from 3-5 p.m. EDT. ESPN will then resume coverage first- and second-round coverage from 5-7 p.m. ET.

For the final two rounds, NBC will provide coverage on June 15-16 from noon to 7:30 p.m. ET.

If a playoff is necessary to determine the 113th U.S. Open champion, then the playoff will begin at noon ET on Monday, June 17 on ESPN. NBC would pick up the playoff at 2 p.m. ET until its conclusion.
