Newly crowned PGA Tour winner Ted Potter Jr. gained 135 places in the Official World Golf Ranking after taking The Greenbrier Classic in a three-hole playoff. Potter cracked the top 100 to land at 83rd.

Troy Kelly, who Potter defeated at the West Virginia resort, improved to No. 167 from No. 464.

The top six in the ranking remain unchanged this week. Luke Donald is No. 1, clear of Rory McIlroy by 1.16 points. Lee Westwood is third, followed by Tiger Woods, Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson. Jason Dufner and Matt Kuchar swapped places for seventh and eighth, while Justin Rose and Hunter Mahan rounded out the top 10.

Though Simpson faded on the back nine on Sunday at The Greenbrier, he could not have improved in the ranking even with a win.

German Marcel Siem, who won the Alstom Open de France on the European Tour, gained 62 places to 58th.
