This is the 18th event of the 2026 LPGA Tour schedule, with the LPGA having their final major of the year. This is a 72-hole event wit a cut to the top 70 and ties after 36 holes. There are 144 players in this field.

The payout schedule is based on 76 players making the cut and is modified based on how many players make the cut. All pros who miss the cut will be paid $4,250.

The event is played this year at Royal Lytham and St. Annes in England.

What else is on the line: Race to the CME Globe points, WWGR points, exemptions

Beyond money, there are important points, perks and benefits on the line for the field -- in particular, the tournament winner.

The winner of this tournament earns 650 Race to the CME Globe points and Rolex Women's World Golf Ranking points.

The top 60 players in the standings at the end of The Annika in November got into the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. The winner of that tournament wins the Race to the CME Globe and a $4 million first-place prize.

Winning comes with other big benefits, including a five-year exemption on the LPGA Tour, as well berths into other big tournaments, including the other four majors for 5 years, as well as a lifetime AIG Women's Open exemption.
