The 2026 Truist Championship purse is set for $20 million, with the winner's share coming in at $3,600,000 -- more than the standard 18 percent payout according to the PGA Tour's prize money distribution chart.

The 2026 Truist Championship field is headed by Rory McIlroy, Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick and more of the world's best players.

The 72-player field competes in the latest Signature event, with the PGA Tour coming back to Quail Hollow after a year off for the club to host the PGA Championship.

A cut is not made after 36 holes to the top 50 players and ties. All players who finish four rounds of the tournament will earn money.

The prize-money payout is typically based on exactly 65 players making the cut and finishing the tournament. When more than 65 pros make the cut, the purse is increased to make sure every player is paid.
